Ted graduated from Greenwood, Callanan and Roosevelt Schools in Des Moines. Ted earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Psychology. He studied Massage Therapy at Heartwood Institute in Northern California, and completed the Advanced Massage Therapist & the Holistic Health Practitioner programs. Ted was class Valedictorian at Heartwood. He studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Zen Shiatsu and Polarity Therapy. The emphasis at Heartwood was sensitivity and compassion through touch.
Practicing since 1998 Ted integrates massage therapy modalities to meet each client’s needs. In 2007 Ted was awarded "Best Massage Therapist" in City View’s Best of Des Moines and runner up in 2008.
